Electric motor end-of-line test bench

Run each motor through a speed profile and check its vibration and noise against limits, with one record per motor.

Every motor gets the same check

A hand-held sound check catches obvious problems. It stops being enough when:

A drive spins the motor through a speed profile. Accelerometers and a microphone record vibration and noise, and the program turns them into spectra, orders and a pass or fail result.
How the test works
  1. Run the motor through its speed profile with the motor drive.
  2. Record the vibration, the sound and the speed together.
  3. Calculate the spectra, the orders and the band levels, and compare each value with its limit.
  4. Store the pass or fail result with the serial number of the motor.

Open-source tools such as pyBearing run inside the OpenEOL workflow, so your engineers can read and change every step. Order tracking and the pass or fail limits are built for each motor type.
